When dreaming I'm guided to another world
Time and time again at sunrise I fight to stay asleep
'Cause I don't want to leave the comfort of this place
'Cause there's a hunger, a longing to escape
From the life I live when I'm awake

So let's go there
Let's make our escape
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we stay

Can you take me higher
To a place where blind men see?
Can you take me higher
To a place with golden streets?

Although I would like our world to change
It helps me to appreciate those nights and those dreams
But, my friend, I'd sacrifice all those nights
If I could make the earth and my dreams the same
The only difference is to let love replace all our hate

So let's go there
Let's make our escape
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we stay?

Can you take me higher
To a place where blind men see?
Can you take me higher
To a place with golden streets?

So let's go there, let's go there
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we stay?

Up high, I feel like I'm alive for the very first time
Set up high, I'm strong enough to take these dreams
And make them mine
Set up high, I'm strong enough to take these dreams
And make them mine

Can you take me higher
To a place where blind men see?
Can you take me higher
To a place with golden streets?

Can you take me higher
To a place where blind men see?
Can you take me higher
To a place with golden streets?

we know that that intelligences are perpendicular., so is like if at the time we are saying something so genious, we could be saying unlimited other statements.

Where is a place that allows blind men to see? Where is a place where streets are covered in gold? Where is a place where love rules and hate has been utterly cast out... And if such a place exists why is it reachable now only in our dreams... An unconscious striving for something higher then ourselves. There is only one place that fits the bill ... The answer is obvious so i will not belabour the point.

Can you take me higher? I think this means can you take me out of this miserable life i'm living. Can you help me dream a litlle easier? I think drugs or mental illnesses could be the reason why this happened to this guy. So let's go there. This is between him and a new girl. Finally he is in charge of his life. He can take what he learned and make a new life of his own. I hope my bf doesn't think this way.

It is about dreams... All dream... Some are able to bring their dreams into reality... The place of dreams is where imagination meets reality... All of our buildings... Songs, stories... All begin in a dream... It is where heaven can be touched... In one man... Blind men could be made to see... And he leads us to golden streets with his dream... Of peace on earth

It reminds me of pearl jam. Someone trying to steal vedder's voice and uh, some bs type of religious influence to it.
