Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for Love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live!
Now your burdens lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain...so
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live!
And like a newborn baby
Dont be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk, sometimes we fall...so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live! [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/c/chris_rice/untitled_hymn_come_to_jesus.html ]
Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain...then
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live!
O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you cant contain your joy inside...then
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live!
And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on glorys side...and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!

This song is such a incredible witness to the true and loving god whom we serve. It will witness and minister to the lost as well as those who already walk with him. It both humbles me and strengthens me to know that god unleashes such gift inside mere mortals but he does and so graciously.
Thank you jesus for inspiring chris rice to write and sing this hymn.

I chose this song for my dad's funeral. It makes me cry, but it also gives me hope.

This is a beautiful song. I would love to have the sheet music and the lyrics. I heard it as a prelude sung at our lady of the lake catholic church in branson, missouri. It was sung by an artist called "the voice of an angel" and she does sound like an angel. I have heard her sing it several times and i cry everytime i hear it. I want to have it sung at my funeral. It answers the questions. "is anybody out there" for me.

Amazing song... Reminds me how my lord is there for me through the difficult times and joyful moments as well.
My aunt and cousin sang this as a duet at my granny's funeral. This was the first time i've heard it. I was crying so hard but it gave me strength and peace thru the tears knowing full well that my granny was in the arms of our lord and savior, jesus christ.
I love this song!!! I first heard it on our youth sunday at church and after that i was hooked!!! On of the girls who was a dancer did a creative movement to it. It was so sad that i was practically shaking because i was crying so hard. Yeah it's that powerful.
