Childrens Songs – I'm A Little Teapot lyrics

[Chorus]
I'm a little teapot
Short and stout
Here is my handle
Here is my spout

When I get all steamed up
I just shout
Tip me over and pour me out

I am a very special pot
It is true
Here is an example of what I can do
I can turn my handle into a spout
Tip me over and pour me out

[Chorus]
I'm a little teapot
Short and stout
Here is my handle
Here is my spout
When I get all steamed up
I just shout
Tip me over and pour me out

I am a very special pot
It is true
Here is an example of what I can do
I can turn my handle into a spout
Tip me over and pour me out

The teapot is very angry. It has no real understanding of the pointlessness of its life. It feels somehow that teabags are more important and have taken over, but it is unable to verbalise this or even recognise its emotional state. Hence it lives in a twee universe of stupidity singing utterly pointless happy songs. This is really only symptomatic of the chronic insanity into which its unstable mind is falling. Feel deeply sorry for the teapot. Empathise with its trauma and worry about the state of denial in which the teapot is living. It is NOT a special teapot. It is utterly and uselessly ordinary. It is the kind of pointless teapot that inspires playwrights to come out with useless, grumpy drivel. Thank you kind teapot, thank you most sacred teapot for giving meaning to my own miserable existence.

"I'm a Little Teapot" is a nursery rhyme describing the boiling and pouring of a teapot to kids. It's amusing to get sugar bowls to sing this song - they get confused at the "here is my spout" bit, as they have two handles. Someone standing with both arms akimbo may be termed a 'sugar bowl', particularly if they have a tendency to shortness and stoutness.watch this video also https://youtu.be/Q0ZK29TSjPA?t=580
