I threw a wish in the well
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
I looked to you as it fell
And now you're in my way

I trade my soul for a wish
Pennies and dimes for a kiss
I wasn't looking for this
But now you're in my way
Your stare was holding
Ripped jeans, skin was showing
Hot night, wind was blowing
Where you think you're going baby?

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy
But here's my number, so call me maybe
It's hard to look right, at you baby
But here's my number, so call me maybe

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy
But here's my number, so call me maybe
And all the other boys, try to chase me
But here's my number, so call me maybe

You took your time with the call
I took no time with the fall
You gave me nothing at all, but still you're in my way
I beg and borrow and steal
At first sight and it's real
I didn't know I would feel it, but it's in my way

Your stare was holding
Ripped jeans, skin was showing
Hot night, wind was blowing
Where you think you're going, baby?

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy
But here's my number, so call me maybe
It's hard to look right, at you baby
But here's my number, so call me maybe

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy
But here's my number, so call me maybe
And all the other boys, try to chase
But here's my number, so call me maybe

Before you came into my life I missed you so bad
I missed you so bad... I missed you so, so bad
Before you came into my life I missed you so bad
And you should know that... I missed you so, so bad

It's hard to look right, at you baby
But here's my number, so call me maybe

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy
But here's my number, so call me maybe
And all the other boys, try to chase me,
But here's my number, so call me maybe

Before you came into my life I missed you so bad
I missed you so bad... I missed you so, so bad
Before you came into my life I missed you so bad
And you should know that
So call me maybe

We think this song is about the model holden nowel. We think this becuase it mantions his name in line 9 and talks about his being ripped and hot in the next 3. We also think is because it mention "don't ask don't tell" at the beginning, alluding to his preferances. It then goes on to describe a picture where he was kissing another man in a hot tube at night, via lines 6, 10 and 11.
If you think this is incorrect, then ask yourself why holden nowell even played in the music video~.

Its about a girl or young woman who likes a guy who suddenly moved in next door, and it was crazy because he was so cute and he liked her (as a friend) and he didn't chase after her so she was about to give him her number after performing with her band for him, but he gave a guy band member a sheet of paper that said call me: 555-6041 xoxo. Thumb me up and I will give thumbs up to all answers :).

The sigh-psalm is a-'bout me - I used-to give my number to women just in case they got lonely and sometimes they got my number afterwards. She feels me but still hasn't found me (because the us wants to kill america=me by various methods, including not 'revealing' the son of man & evolved, moravian rapt. Czar, etc. - the us gov. Is not even revealing or protecting em from their own officers who think they are something but aren; t even as powerful or prphetic as the musicians of the temple, like the lyricist here for call me maybe) until she goes to bank of the planet earth dot com (without spaces you know) as I am the eye on the top of the pyramid as well as the bottom and allah the points/facets in-between. See also bliondie - 'call me' and 'rapture', inter alia such as black sheep of the family, katy perry, lady ga a, ann coulter, etc. I am desolation of obama nation as well as the hills (to run to). I am the man in revelations - the formerly headless bride of christ & formerly dead church @ philadelphia and th@ man that passed through the door(s) that no man can shut. Allah ewex should tell her.

It's a really cool song and it's really catchy so it gets stuck in your head and I think that's a good characteristic to have in a song. It's sort of captures all of the thoughts in a typical teenage girl's mind to just like a guy when you don't even know him! I love carly rae jepson because she has an amazing voice and her look totally goes with this song.
