Aberdeen is an amazing song written by one amazing band known as cage the elephant. My favorite part about how this song is the music video. The video shows a monster like animal who lives in some sort of volcanoe that is not to far from the city. The monster just want to be friends with the humans who live in the city. When he goes over to visit he ends up killing three people and scaring many citizens away... So he goes back to his volcanoe and makes a statue of him being friends with a human.. When he takes it to the city the police shine lightin his eyes making him drop the statue. The statue breaks in a way that the dinosaur is biting off the humans head withthe words "die" under it. Well he flees back to the volcanoe where he then dies. This video really repersents-in my opinon anyways-how someone is an outcast and just wants to be friends with a certain person(s). And when they ignore him he sees himself as a freakshow. And thats why i love this song sooo much. I dont think cage the elephant just designed the video as a joke or for fun i think that they had a purpose and true vision for it. Aberdeen
