Jacob's Ladder lyrics

My opinion is that when you hear this song for the first time,probably you don't understand the real meaning of the song,because as you can see the song is very repetitive and very difficult to listen. But,when i've read the lyrics,i understood that there is a very special message that the song wants to give us,that is that in everything we do during our life we have to do it at our best,or as the song says we have to go higher and higher. So my conclusion is that hte song at the beginning looks a little bit boring and maybe stupid,but as many others songs that look like this it has a very important lesson of life that we have to understand.
