Where You go I go
What You say I say
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray

Where You go I go
What You say I say
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray

Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray

Cause Jesus only did what He saw You do
And He would only say what He heard You speak
And He would only move when He felt You lead
Following Your heart following Your spirit

So How could I expect to walk without You
When every move that Jesus made was in surrender
I will not begin to live without You
For You alone are worthy and You are always good

Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray

Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray

So How could I expect to walk without You
When every move that Jesus made was in surrender
I will not begin to live without You
For You alone are worthy and You are always good
You are always good

La, la, la, la
Oh, the beauty of Your name will be seen upon my face, Oh, God
La la la la
Oh, the glory of Your name will be seen upon our face, Oh, God

Though the world sees and soon forgets
We will not forget who You are and what You've done for us
And what You've done for us
And Though the world sees and soon forgets
We will not forget what You've done for us

La la la la
La la la

Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray

Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray

Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray

I will follow You yeah,
In this desert life, I will follow You
Whatever comes my way
Through every situation, I will follow You
To the unknown, to the unsaved
Give me a heart of no compromise

The key line for me is "when every move that jesus made was in surrender". It becomes quite clear if we're honest with ourselves when we've been attentive to what he's saying and doing. The prime example was when I came out of an over authoritative church setting and the lord spoke that I was to obey god and not man. I was not blessed at all by those in authority and some ended up doing the same thing I did. It was an unholy mess. The lord led me to a missions sensitive church that led me to go for a number of years to argentina. I had come to the lord there back in the 70's through mk's. This song is so real to me because everytime I've turned a corner after hearing the lord's voice I've gotten flak even from those closest to me. The blessings of obedience are so much greater and have eternal reward consequences. One day we'll stand before our maker and no one else will we be able to blame for our lack of hearing of his voice. That is what it means to say he is our sovereign lord is that we truly love him through our obedience and take action and not rest on our blessed assurance. Thank you brian & jenn for bringing this to conception as the lord gave me your name and face when I was at a prophetic prayer ihop conference.
