Everyone wants to call it all around our life with a better name,
Everyone falls and spins and gets up again with a friend, who does the same.
Everyone lies and cheats their, wants and needs and still believes their heart
Everyone gets the chills, the kind that kills when pain begins to start.
Lets get this straight.
Do you want me here?
As I struggle through
Each and every year.
And all these demons,
They keep me up all night x3
Everyone's cross to bears the crown they wear on, endless holiday
Everyone waves as kids in a world that changes, life to a bitter game
Everyone works and fights, stays up all night to sell the break of day
Everyone lives to tell the tale of how he died alone some day.
Lets get this straight.
Do you want me here?
As I struggle through
Each and every year.
And all these demons,
They keep me up all night x4
They keep me up all
This was the first single to be released by American pop punk group blink-182 after they reformed, following a four year hiatus. The song was originally titled "The Night the Moon Was Gone." Guitarist Tom DeLonge's daughter thought that name up. "Up All Night" premiered on Blink-182's website and Los Angeles-based radio station KROQ on July 15, 2011. Though originally scheduled to play on Friday at 7:30am, the song's premiere was moved earlier, to Thursday night. In response to the single release, the official Blink-182 website crashed several times, Hoppus' new Google+ account crashed, and Blink-182 was a top trending topic on Twitter worldwide.
