Look at the psalms. David repeated himself many times in offering tribute to the lord. He also said to "sing praises with understanding. " we understand that singing these repetitive lines is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength, a sign of faith in the word that says the lord inhabits the praise of his people; and, where the spirit of the lord is, there is liberty. So in praising the lord, we are set free from the oppression that would bind us. So... Sing on!

People like to chant the same words repeatedly so that they don't have to think deeply about anything. They want emotionalism, not a deep meaningful relationship that requires true commitment from them with christ in a lifestyle change.

I believe the meaning to this song is that we need to humble ourselves and sing and praise the lord. So his glory can rise above us.

As we declare "let it rise" we are proclaming and establishing with our tongues that we want and expect the glory and presence of god himself to arise over us, knowing that when he arises darkness has to flee - and it's the glory that brings the anointing - and its the anointing that breaks the yolk of darkness and destruction.

Let the glory of the presence of the lord ( fill up the place ) rise as in our minds/spirits be filled/fullness of his presence to be amongt us (and his presence is above and bigger than anything else)
