The Long And Winding Road lyrics

Beatles The Long And Winding Road lyrics

(Lennon/McCartney)

The long and winding road that leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before it always leads me here
Leads me to your door
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/b/beatles/the_long_and_winding_road.html ]
The wild and windy night that the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears crying for the day
Why leave me standing here, let me know the way
Many times I've been alone and many times I've cried
Anyway you'll never know the many ways I've tried
And still they lead me back to the long and winding road
You left me standing here a long, long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here, lead me to you door

But still they lead me back to the long and winding road
You left me standing here a long, long time ago
Don't keep me waiting here (Don't keep me wait), lead me to you door
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Many times ive been alone many times ive cried many ways you never know the many ways ive tried ... Reminds me of him. He never knew how i truly feels for him. It has been a long time since we've never seen each other. I have forgotten him once but things happen unexpectedly bringing back the memories no matter how hard you try to forget. ... And still it leads me back to the long and winding road, you left me standing here a long long time ago...

It is so sad. It really is and it's dedicated to loneliness. Everyone has a lonely time
