This song tells us that when it seems like god has abandoned you, that he's stopped talking to you, and caring about you, he's not done with you yet. There may be times where we feel like we can't hear his voice anymore, and that no matter how hard we pray, he is gone. But no matter what, we need to keep the faith, because he never abandons his children. This is a song of hope, a song that will remind us that no matter how hard our lives are getting and how distant from god we feel, we should be faithful. God's answer to prayer will come, and we should be patient while we wait for it. Now, i'm one of the most impatient people on the planet, and many times, while i'm waiting for god to answer my prayer, i'll grow restless and doubtful, and my faith starts to fade. In fact, that recently just happened. But god did answer me. I was going through a rough patch, and he was there leading me out of it, just where he said he always would be. He did not abandon me. And he'll never abandon you, either. Be faithful. Have hope.

I think this song is telling everybody that no matter who you are, or what you've done, you are not forgotten in the lord, he hears everybody's prayers, everybody's plea for help. And i know that somehow, someway, somehow, he'll answer it. And sometimes, the reason why some prayers aren't answered right then, is cause it's not the right time. Sometimes they come later, when the time is right for them to be... But know no matter what, they will be answered and also sometimes they may not be answered the way you'd like them too, sometimes they get answered in a totally different way. You just have to keep believing like this song says, you have to keep on having faith. No matter what.
