I wanna see you in the morning
I wanna see you when the breaking day is dawning
You gotta go you gotta go
It's alright

But I wanna see you in the see you in the light of the morning
And when I get the same reaction
I know this time it's gonna give some satisfaction
You gotta go you gotta go
It's alright

But I wanna see you in the see you in the light of the morning

I wanna see you in the morning
I wanna see you when the breaking day is dawning
You gotta go you gotta go
It's alright

But I wanna see you in the see you in the light of the morning

Er, both of you have missed the point. It is about two people who are into each other but for whatever reason they can't be together. The narrative is playfully suggesting that hopefully sometime soon they're gonna get it on and the other won't have to leave the other lusting for it!

Yea, You gotta go... all the way back to Jimmy Hendricks to hear where these guys got their licks and sound. Lyrics? Really, there are none. Meaning less. I can't have sex cause you gotta go. toooC, you're right, horrendously sad. HOWEVER, it has a great revival sound.

It's horrendously sad. All been there. Wanting to hang on to the love and be there together. Hating that walking out the door thing and leaving you behind.
