It means that humans have false hope, and that the end is going to come eventually, and we should just accept it without trying to put god into the equation.

The wicked end is a perfect title to summarize what this song is about. The theme here is that mankind's wickedness will lead to our end. In essence, evil does not die and eventually it will kill good and we will destroy ourselves. The song starts out with "man's becoming more corrupt now, godless, wicked, and cruel" which basically means people have thrown out all sense of morals. The reference to the flood says that we deserve worse punishment than humanity received in the biblical story of noah and the ark, where all mankind rebels against god except for noah's family and so god sends the flood to destroy all mankind except for noah's family. This would mean we all deserve to die. The mention of prophecies is a reference to everyone throughout the ages who has said that we will destroy ourselves. In the bible, adam is the first human being and also the first sinner. According to the bible, everyone has sinned. This reference basically means that humanity has always been evil. The bridge gives you the message to not waste your time because you never know when the end will come.

I think they are about how much wrong is in the world and all the horrible things humanity does and how eventually we,the humans, are going to end our world b/c of all the disgusting things we do and how we are just going to bring ourselves down eventually and everyone and everything with us.thats why the title is"the wicked end" b/c when we do end the world it wont be a peaceful end it will be a horrible,wicked end to humanity. Theres a religious referance to this song b/c they are saying how from the begining of all humanity we were already doing wrong "dust the apple off, savor each bite
and deep inside you know adam was right"
then it says "we've grown in numbers six hundred sixty six" meaning that as we go on we are doing wrong more and more.at the end it says how horrible and sad of a world we live in and how we are always going to live in a world of misery we are never going to get better were just going to keep doing worng until we get rid of each other forever. Another important lyric is the in the middle where it says "voice your prophecy, shed us some light
feel sorrow for mankids's chance to survive
swallowed lies and swam in our own tears
a stab in the dark and it wounded our will
we won't be here tomorrow, hold on to me for one last time" that means that we should always beg and pray for some light from god and for him to feel mercey for us so we wont suffer so much.the second line meaning how we kinda wollow in our own pitty but im not so sure on those ones but yeah my meaning on the song could be too deep but this is what i get put of the song.

I think the meanings to this song is pretty self explanitory. Or it could be a metaphore for living life to the fullest and to never waste your time with loved ones cuz you'll never know when the end is going to come :(
