To me it means if you take a stand you may lose a lot of your friends, but if you dont take a stand then does it really matter what you say, and if you arent willing to take a stand then what does that do for us or for everyone around us, kinda seems to parallel the book of james, at least it does to me

Java java... It means that we who are christians wil be persecuted and killed for our belife that jesus is the son of god and came to save us from the original sin.
For we will be persecuted for his name. Aild is a christian band and we should remember that they serve the lord and are mindful of his word.

I have been a fan of aild even before i understood the real meaning behind their lyrics. After becoming a student of the word of god, i recognized the scripture the band used in their lyrics. The music became so much more and i am so grateful that they have the heart and creativity to do what they do; and i'm not just referring to the amaizing music. They are true artists and not just people please-rs, they are passionate about their message and use everything they do to convey it, from the lyrics to the videos. I believe the song anodyne sea speaks a message that has been spoken and suffered by many before, and is still suffered by some in this world. A message of truth and the conviction to hold to it and not let any pull you from it even if you are told it is wrong, humiliated, dragged and beaten, forced to choose between living in a lie or dying for truth. This is the scenario of many martyrs, known and unknown, and for jesus christ as well; and possibly for any of us.
This is a song to wake those unaware and to strengthen those who know truth. A way for as i lay dying to show their conviction and share that with those who love them for who they are. To let us know they will stand with us, though we may die publicly or silently, alone or in a group, that overall though we may be seen as the offenders for our message of truth, love and peace in a world that promotes and accepts lies, hatred and war, that even though of the two we may be the least likely to offend or arouse tensions, we may be the ones hunted, herded, hauled off and disposed of, left to form an anodyne sea. And yet that is still greater than living amongst the dead and letting ourselves fade away into one like them.

Tim really inspires me to stand up for what i believe in and have an ear to those who need to share an important message as well. I f we always stay silent and watch wrong doing right before us, tim is right, we will walk alone. God bless you as i lay dying, send your message to the world.

It means when truth is spoken it will get coverd by some one and can even be dangrous

Numb... No pain... No reason... But when the reason arises, it comes so fast and suddenly, and no one is ready. So pretty much, no pain no purpose.
