alexthomasdavis – Angel lyrics

Angel come to me you're out of sight
Angel come to me I need a light
Angel come to me I thought you cared
Angel come to me I'm laid out bare
And when you're gone the dark prevails
I need your son the holy grail
Without your light my life entrails
Without your might my breads gone stale

This is about wanting your angel to be looking over you. The song itself is not one of my better ones but the lyrics are still pretty good. Sometimes when you start out writing a song, you have an inkling as to where you want to go with it, but this one seemed to take a life of It's own. Without my angel my bread indeed has gone stale.
