A Skylit Drive – The Children Of Adelphia lyrics

Lights out!
Can you see the end?
Don't think you have nothing to hold
We are the motion
You are the tide

Our time has seen it's last success

You will not go til you find your way home

The ground beneath me is burning, and I say let it die... Let it die
Stuck in time we're frozen, and I say let 'em die... Let 'em die

We are the children of Adelphia

We can't breathe in all this smoke

First to the sea
Then to the sky
It's beautiful I know you'll like it

We are the motion
You are the tide

You will not go til you find your way home

The ground beneath me is burning, and I say let it die... Let it die
Stuck in time we're frozen, and I say let 'em die... Let 'em die

We are the children of Adelphia
We are the motion, and you are the tide

I did some researching because I wanted to figure out what the song ment too so heres what I came up with.
I found out "adelphia" means or is along the lines with brotherhood. Children of brotherhood could maybe portay that this song is about war.
"We are the motion you are the tide" in the song could mean that what we do will end up affecting you in some way like if we are going to go in with our guns your going to be affected by getting hurt or shot.
"The ground beneath me is burning" We are on the battle field and. Everything is unorganized, bombs blowing up, bullets flying around, its just a mess out there.
"Stuck in time we are frozen" We are away from all civilization and the ever so quickly changing technology.
"First to sea then to sky" Theyve been everywhere seen everything from down in the warships on the sea and the fighter jets in the sky.
"Let em die and let it die" I think those are self explanitory in a war situation.
And finally "we are the children of adelphia" we are brother in arms andd will fight for eachothers and our countries safety because that's what its all about.
