Despite the fact that they've gone to showcase these softer, fun sides of them instead of their fierceness since ILY, I think that this song is by far the most beautiful song they've created. ILY held a longing, distance. FIL was very summery and fun. DYLM was a haunting kind of dance track. But here lies Missing You.

The song itself is so simple - a collection of beats matched by a piano. But the lyrics are so deep. Verses that talk about becoming independent. But choruses that convey a longing.
In the MV, that dancer - the mask was meant so that this song can relate to anyone. That the face can be anyone. CL's nude scene showing her vulnerability. The harmonies and the solo shots.
It all came together in one beautiful song.
Never had I become so enamored with the emotions tied into it. Not since probably It Hurts.

Because of this, I thought that they presented something soft, but there's an underlying fierceness that says "We can be vulnerable, but we do it with confidence". This song became something I listen to at least once a day. I can't help but be hypnotized by the almost unplugged voices.
We BlackJacks are proud of our girls. Keep it going.

I absolutely love this incredible song. The way they all sing in harmony with each other is so elegant and beautiful and the last line Park Bom sings always gives me goose bumps. I am so proud of 2NE1 and all the time they took to create this wonderful song! I am proud to be a blackjack.

2NE1 is love. This song really conveys a very strong emotions & feelings of someone. 2NE1 once again never disappoints their fans & this time round they show a different side of them. I really really hope they could produce an English album as this will bring the world closer together. My best wishes for them & i hope to see more of their wonderful pieces. Much loves from blackjacks.

Among all of 2ne1's songs, I honestly love Missing You so much. Something about the melody that nailed inside someone's heart and it definitely nailed deeply inside me. The feeling of longing, reminiscence of past relationship that they thought already gone but it still lingered whenever they're facing each other.

Tbh, I was having the same experiences(and I know so does everyone) where my past relationship wasn't ended very well. I was trying to act cool bout everything every time I met him but it's freaking hard! In the end I ended up crying alone after knowing he has already moved on. I was like "Idk why I can't."

The point is, the song captures the longing I felt inside of me. The song fits the situation like a glove. 2ne1 is jjang, like always! Their catchy songs are hits and their ballad songs are breath-taking. Saranghe 2ne1 unnie.

This song is so deep and emotional it gets me every time. I'm used to hearing the fierce and confident side of 2NE1, so I was honestly shocked when this came out. But I'm really glad they did a piece like this, showcasing that while they can be confident and loud, on the inside of every person there is a certain vulnerability that perhaps only we can see and feel. Somehow I feel that 2NE1 is saying that it's okay to feel sad and lost, because we are human and this is what we, as human beings, do. We hurt each other and shirk each other and while we can put up a facade and not let anyone see, on the inside it's there. It's a song that is so dynamic yet simple, it captures the very essence of human emotions. I'm proud of 2NE1 for a song like "Missing You".
