Preeya Kalidas (born 1980) is a British singer/actress. She is best known for her roles in the films East Is East and Bend It Like Beckham, and has now joined the cast of EastEnders to play Amira Shah. Born in Isleworth, she was raised in Twickenham, south-west London.
