He's surprised that he has made this many albums thus far, considering his first three albums didn't get the attention Kid had hoped for and was practically a big flop after flop, until his 4th album made him famous and put him on the celebrity radar. He had a passion for music at a young age and had no interest fixing up cars like his dad. The guitar lick he hears is the begging of Lynyrd skynyrds Free bird.

Robert J. Ritchie a.k.a. Kid Rock appeared on the famous magazine The Rolling Stone twice. First in 1998(the same year his first big record dropped, " Devil without a cause", and appearing again in 2007. This record "Cocky" was his 5th album and was released Nov.20th 2001. Kid Rock met a few former presidents while they were in office, Bill Clinton being the 2nd.
Kid Rock grew an alcohol addiction during the 90's and speaks of how it affected him, making him ultimately broke and constantly being used because of his addiction at the time.
