This song is what I'm currently going through there is this guy that I really, really like that goes to my school and we talk but turns out he likes my best friend. They went out but she broke up with him because she told me she "never really cared about him the first place" now he likes another girl (not me) and it just bothers me that hes falling for all these girls that don't really like him when I would never break his heart. I wish he would just open his eyes and see that. I replay this song over and over again waiting for the day when he will love me but. But I am very afraid that day will never come.

This song is about being lost and confused, not knowing where to run next. Like your trapped in a hole and you want to escape it. The hole representing your blank mind. Wanting to escape yourself. Not knowing want you want out of life and trying to find ot. Its as if you had it at one point. As if you knew why you wanted to live and who you were and what joys you got our of life but somewhere along the way you lost all that and forgot your will to live and what you want out of life and your desperately grasping for a clue but you get nothing because your trapped in the hole.
