I think the song means this guy, he loves this woman, who ever she is, and he just can't help it. He tried his best not to fall in love with her, but he feels that he didn't have a choice. He was meant to love her. So he's giving upeverybody else, and he's throwing himself out there, and is like, "hey, i'm here, and i'm yours if you'll have me." the girl is probably saying that she doesn't know if she loves him or whatever, and he's saying that there isn't any better time or place but now. He knows that she knows she loves him, and she might as well act on it now cause they both know it's true.
