The song is about people losing hopes in life because of problems which made him forgot to have faith with god. He sees to believe that there is no such thing as 'god' who always there for us in times of hard situations and troubles. But colton emphasizes that god was never gone in our lives. He is always there. He is our provider. Yes, we aren't able to see his presence nor his true appearance. But look on ourselves, we are alive, we have the body especially as the soul that no one can gave us. Only one person can able to give that life and that's god. I know that we will live a full life by trying to put ourselves close to god. If we encounter problems, pray. God will answer in the best for us. My fellow countrymen suffered from a tragedy brought by the typhoon 'yolanda' which killed thousands of lives and I really felt pity for them. This is my favorite song in taylor's red album. I can feel the sadness in her voice as she sings it and the lyrics was perfectly written with passionate. The song is about remembering the memories of being together with the one you love the most and you surely know that there will never be a chance again. I like the way taylor wrote songs about her love life. There were people hate taylor about her way of writing songs, but it's her 'want'. It's her 'good way' of expressing her true feelings to public. There's no such bad regarding that. Hoping for a good respect not just taylor's songs and the way they were written but also to taylor herself also.
