If cryogenics were all free
Then you could live like Walt Disney
And live for all eternity
Inside a block of ice
A myth that was started around 1972 was that Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen. This means put into hibernation by being frozen as an alternative to dying. This myth actually isn't true, as he was cremated, not cryogenically frozen. The myth was started when during an interview with Bob Nelson, the president of the Cryonics Society of California at the time, Bob said that Walt Disney was cremated, but he wanted to be cryogenically frozen. This lead to people talking about how he wanted to be frozen which lead to the myth that he was frozen.
