She has nowhere to keep her earn't money, so she has loose chance in her pockets. She wishes she had money to spend, hence the "bank notes". In the line "weary-eyed" She is tired and and sick of life, she wants to escape to her own room, so that she can use her drugs to help her escape the cruel reality of her life. "Dry throat" means she is thirsty and hungry and smoking is burning her lungs, which would result in a dry throat.

She doesn't want to go out and be a prostitute but she has no choice, because she needs to pay for her addiction. She wants to stay in and take drugs so that she can get away but she has to sleep with unknown men instead. Ed Sheeran is saying that although she does it so often, she doesn't enjoy it and that both him and her wish that thins could be different. She doesn't want to go outside tonight because she really does want to stay inside securely with someone to love, but she is very lonely. In the video clip you can see how her addiction takes over her because she cries when she sleeps with the men. It's a very sad song and shows the truth in plain black and white of how your life can turn out when you get into these kind of things.
