This song is about Taylor & her boyfriend. Before she met him, she was a follower and didn't take control of her life; justt let people rule her. She met him & when they got together, sge saw that he was in charge of his life & he was outgoing and so she learned to do that and he showed her to live her life. She obviously loved whoever this song was dedicated to.
