The song is about a girl, his girlfriend. She is the Starlight. All Matt Bellamy wants is to Hold her in his arms. But as the relationship becomes deeper and deeper, he feels like she is taking him away from the people who care if he lives or dies. He has been chasing her this entire time, "I will be chasing a starlight until the end of my life." But as a consequence grows further and further away from his friends and family. The word ship in the line "This ship has taken me far away" represents her. But even tho she is doing all of this, he can't help but be with her. "My life, you electrify my life"
She must be something quite remarkable.
