He's saying that he wants to repent fot everything he's done and in return spare what he loves. He wants "her/him" to forgive them of their sins and allowing to keep doing what they love in return. Most people see these lyrics in the chorus in the wrong way just because of the music video. The lyrics have to be thought deeply upon and take some effort to understand. He wants to be forgiven of everything he's done wrong.

Offer me the death that is no deathless meaning, he wants death without dying. Basically a spirit made to wander but still alive.
