Yeah, I think losermusiclover is right on! I would like to add that the writer of this track seems to think he can be her strength and deliver her from the hidden darkness in her heart and some might call this a "God complex"...What he doesn't appear to understand is that he's equally as weak as she. When he was deep in the black, she was there for him. Now she's shown that she, too is just as mortal as he. Neither of them can truly save each other but the writer of this song doesn't get that. I guess I just read between the lines because I used to think I, too was strong. Then my metal was tested and I learned my feet were made of clay.
