I think this song us talking about maybe how a couple and maybe his gf has passed on and he blames himself for her death and wants, wishes, and hopes that she will come back cuz perhaps they got into an argument before she passed. I mostly think this cuz if the line that says "I still see your shadow" but idk I could be wrong, I'm just saying what I interpret from this song, it can mean numerous things and takin into many perspectives. :)
