Yolanda Adams – I Told The Storm lyrics

Even though your winds blow,
I want you to know
You cause me no alarm
Cause I'm safe in his arms,
Even though your rain falls
I can still make this call
Let there be peace now
I can say go away oh
I command you to move today
Because of faith I have a brand new day
The sun will shine,
I will out ok,
That's what I told the storm

The meaning of I told the storm means that no matter what you are going through, you can command the storm to move out of your way. God gives us the power and authority to speak to those things as if they were, even though we cannot see our way through. Have faith and trust god, even in the smaller things. Trials and tribulations will come but we have to have patience. Patience is acting the same way (christ-like) in all situations and circumstances.
