Wings was a rock music supergroup formed in August 1971, shortly after the breakup of The Beatles, by ex-Beatle Paul McCartney. Wings achieved widespread success during the 1970s despite continual personnel changes. The only three members in all of the different versions of Wings were McCartney, his wife Linda, and ex-Moody Blues guitarist and singer Denny Laine.
