Jump an' shout
An the world would wanna know
A-what it's all about

You know, I'm here
Ev'rybody knows I'm here
And I'm the Hoochie Coochie man
Ev'rybody knows I'm here

On the seventh hour
On the seventh day
On the seventh month
The seventh doctor said

'He's born for good luck
And I know you see'd
Got seven hundred dollars
And don't you mess with me

You know, I'm here
Ev'rybody know I'm here
Well, I'm the Hoochie Coochie man

Originally supposed to be hoochie koochie, an oblique reference to hong kong, the influences of immigrants and their superstition on anglo-american culture and music, and the self-evident fact that artistic and inter-racial diversity and mingling have happened and nothing can turn the clock back. Perhaps, also a call to accept what the wheels of fortune have caused and allowed to happen... Very wise!
