You can have him
I’ve got the only part of you
That will matter
He’s just a fix to get you through

Held hostage, no bail
No ransom, to frail
Starving, there’s no healing
Dried out, there’s no bleeding

What’s left for you to lose?
You gave it all away so soon

Hear all about the lies you spilt
Night after night
Exchanging your body as you
Once did with mine

Am I the one, to blame for your dreams?
Do you ever wake at night and scream?
Call out my name, pretend he’s me?
Whoa-oh-ah-oh, pretend for me

Ho-how
How could you think, I would believe
You’re as real as thee, green on the leaves?

Held hostage, no bail
No ransom, to frail
Starving, no healing
Dried out, there’s no bleeding

What have you did, what have you done?
With the girl that I once loved?

Hear all about the lies you spilt
Night after night
Exchanging your body as you
Once did with mine

Am I the one to blame for your dreams?
Do you ever wake at night and scream?
Call out my name, pretend he’s me?
Whoa-oh-ah-oh, pretend for me

Am I the one to blame for your dreams?
Do you ever wake at night and scream?
Call out my name, pretend he’s me?
Whoa-oh-ah-oh, pretend for me

You can have him
One night
You can have him
One night

Am I the one to blame for your dreams?
Do you ever wake at night and scream?
Call out my name, pretend he’s me?
Whoa-oh-ah-oh, pretend for me

Am I the one to blame for your dreams?
Do you ever wake at night and scream?
Call out my name, pretend he’s me?
Whoa-oh-ah-oh, pretend for me

Am I the one, to blame for your dreams?
Do you ever wake at night and scream?
Call out my name, pretend he’s me?
Whoa-oh-ah-oh, pretend for me

Am I the one, to blame for your dreams?
Do you ever wake at night and scream?
Call out my name, pretend he’s me?
Whoa-oh-ah-oh, pretend for me

Actually i think hes saying he has her heart, and she thinks of him when shes with the other guy..

" hes just a fix to get you through"
Meaning the other guy is just the rebound to help her get over him.
And he ruins her dreams because she dreams about him.

Its about her not getting over him not the other way around, at least im pretty sure..

This song haves a lot of meaning to me at least
It reminds me about this girl i used to date
On my first year of highschool(here from where i am we start
    High school at 10th grade).
I loved her a lot and well i gave her my virginity and one day
When i decided to take things seriously she leaved haven't know about her
    Since then.
This was one of our favorite songs by that time and well yeah then i saw her with another guy and after that i heard that i was just played and that he was her actual bf so yeah.
This song has a lot of meaning to me because it reminds me of that time when i used to thought thta this was going to be forever but it didn't.
I love this band and specially this song.

There's this couple who just lost their virginity and the girl cheats on the guy. And the guy is talking about how he has her virginity and that's all that matters... Even though she did cheat on him.
