There is a place of commanding blessing
Where brethren in unity dwell
A place where anointing oil is flowing
Where we live as one

You have called us to be a body
You have called us as friends
Joined together in the bond of the Spirit
Unto the end

Father we join with the prayer of Jesus
As you are so let us be one
Joined together in unity and purpose
All for the love you Son

We will break dividing walls
We will break dividing walls
We will break dividing walls in the name of your Son
We will break dividing walls
We will break dividing walls
And we will be one

This beautiful song should be sung in all the troubled spots of the world: should be made The World's "Universal Anthem".
What are we really fighting for? We all come to go - no permanent residency. During disasters and on death-
beds wealth acquired do not cross minds of beleaguered souls, it is memories of loved ones (people) far and wide. Therefore, people and people only (whatever the affiliation) should be our raison-detre for living. The love of people is the love of God: you cannot love God if you do not love your fellow-man.

We sang break dividing walls in our church until the pastor complained about the president saying he would like to see all faiths live as one. The pastor said that was wrong, so we have discarded this song because we took it to mean that as christians we were to reach out and love everyone.
