When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.

There is no life – no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be

    This is a good song. It was truly astonishing in concert. Lol! When I went to his concert everybody was crying. It was like sadness in stereo. It was scary and hilarious! But, I do really like this song.

    To really understand the true meaning of this beautiful song one must hear the whole song. By say Selah, what it is saying is that God will raise you up and make you strong, even strong enough to stand on mountains and overcome the stormy seas of life. I wish Josh had sung the entire song but it still raise's me everytime I sing it with him. If God's not in your life bring him in and you to can do all of the above.

    There is always that one person or belief or thig thst can raise ou up or bring out the best in ou, that is so powerful that words can't even describe it. I think this song puts it into words best and is so moving in the emotion drivn from the song. Props to josh groban and his team!!! He is truly talented!
