Airplanes
Take you away again
Are you flying
Above where we live
Then I look up a glare in my eyes
Are you having regrets about last night
I'm not but I like rivers that rush in
So then I dove in
Is there trouble ahead
For you the acrobat
I won't push you unless you have a net

You say the word
You know I will find you
Or if you need some time
I don't mind
I don't hold on
To the tail of your kite
I'm not like the girls that you've known
But I believe I'm worth coming home to
Kiss away night
This girl only sleeps with butterflies
With butterflies
So go on and fly then boy

Balloons
Look good from on the ground
I fear with pins and needles around
We may fall then stumble
Upon a carousel
It could take us anywhere

I'm not like the girls that you've known
But I believe I'm worth coming home to
Kiss away night
This girl only sleeps with butterflies
With butterflies
With butterflies
So go on and fly boy

beautiful song... not sure about the lyrics, though; i really can't understand it much. it seems that she's telling the guy that it's okay even if he left her or if he strays and that she's not clingy. but if he wants to get back together, she'll take him back. she won't run after him, though, and won't beg him to stay.

It's about not having any expectations or whatsoever with a guy, kinda just going with the the flow but certainly implying that it doesn't mean she is a woman not worthy of respect/love. I believe women like these are strong women, because one of the toughest most difficult feelings to deal with is losing someone that you never actually had in the first place. Less expectations less frustrations, just enjoy life enjoy the person showing u affection will it's there. Nothing's permanent in this world, if it goes then that's life but it doesn't then maybe it's meant to be

it's gorgeous!!tori's one of the few who i looked up to...she got a character in her...
holau, what she say in this song is that, one night stand is fine for her, she's not expecting anything in return...what i admire about her is that she can deal with it...she can deal with the rejection...and she belittle all the man she sleeps with calling them butterfly!hahaha!

"sleeps with butterflies" is a figurative way of describing a girl who is used to being abandoned by the men that she love. the butterflies are the men who fly around and don't know how to stay put into one serious relationship. the girl, although she's hurting, she has accepted that fact that all the men she learns to love always takes her for granted and leaves her. although she claims that she doesn't go after them anymore because it's the men's loss if they leave her. she strongly feels that she's the type of girl that deserves respect and taken seriously as evident in the line("but i believe i'm worth coming home to"). this is such a very nice song that almost every girl can relate to, especially if you came from a tragic relationship with a man you loved so much.
