Lyrics and Music by Mark Lee, Marc Byrd, and Third Day
From the recording: Come Together, Track #3.

I caught a glimpse of Your splendor
In the corner of my eye
The most beautiful thing I've ever seen
And it was like a flash of lightning
Reflected off the sky
And I know I'll never be the same

Show me Your glory
Send down Your presence
I want to see Your face
Show me Your glory
Majesty shines about You
I can't go on without You, Lord

When I climb down the mountain
And get back to my life
I won't settle for ordinary things
I'm gonna follow You forever
And for all of my days
I won't rest 'til I see You again

Show me Your glory
Show me Your glory
I can't live without You

Worship in it's purest form can only be achieved when a person opens a dialog with god with the intent to seek his face and not his hand. -stephen hudson
david said one day in the presence (glory) of god is better than a thousand elsewhere. Great song. I love it!

I'm searching for a meaning in this song. Ever since facing extreme personal hardship & growth in the lord over the last 17 months (2 job losses & a very ill child), this song keeps playing in my head randomly! It's no coinsedence that it seems to always be on the radio when i get in the car, i'm sure, either. ?

It seems to demonstrate how we should ask to see his glory, so he reveal his power and might to us. When we "climb down the mountain and get back to our lives" we come back to every day living after getting on the "high" with god. We shouldn't settle on ordinary things but instead on heavenly and majestic things of god. This is how i see the song.
