Waiting as I'm wanting to.
Speaking as I'm spoken to.
Changing to your point of view.
Fading as I follow you.

A boyish notion of false emotion.
These words are spoken despite my love.
A fool's devotion was set in motion.
My eyes are open now.

It's a glass cage so I can't pretend.
You hide beneath the physical.
I see it coming.
But I can't defend.
You cut so deep,
My belief is gone.
My belief is gone.
My belief is...

Tell me what I want to say.
Save me for another day.
Break me, it's the game you play.
Hate me as I turn away.

My belief is gone.
My belief is gone.
My belief is...

It's a glass cage so I can't pretend.
You hide beneath the physical.
I see it coming.
But I can't defend.
You cut so deep,
My belief is gone.
My belief is gone.
My belief is gone.
My belief is gone.
My belief is...

I’m not sure but I think that because of the video i.e. the masks, numbers and uniforms I think that the meaning is somewhere along the lines of people being pressured into think what other people want them to. The masks meaning that their putting on a show and the numbers meaning that they've had their individuality has been taken away. Also I think that maybe the focus is on someone you trust not necessarily a love or a teacher but someone important breaking that trust and now they find it hard to belief in anything, not just love, because they felt so certain about that person.

I think it means how you can't hide anything to people as long as there's such thing as words. And that how you look may hide who you are for a while but it won't forever.

*** it's obvious, it's about how people should not be forced to go to school for the most influential years of their life and learn to be a system puppet for so long that it's all they can remember ***

*** read any one of the lyrics and it will tell you this ***

It is society. People hide and mask thier feelings and cannot stand to live wothout thier facade. Some people are unable to fit the mold created by the mask. The singer realizes that society is fully based on the full facade in which most people live without knowing. When the masks are broken the true feelings are shown but, people just hide them along with thier faces. With in society everyone feels like they know or understand someone but, in actality they know nothing about many of the people that they see and talk with everyday. Many people hide thier feelings as well causing emotions to run rampid through the minds of everyone to the point that it is normal to have feelings in the mind at all times.
