I'm trading my sorrows
I'm trading my shame
I'm laying them down
For the joy of the Lord

I'm trading my sickness
I'm trading my pain
I'm laying them down
For the joy of the Lord

We Say
Yes Lord yes Lord
Yes yes Lord
Yes Lord yes Lord
Yes yes Lord
Yes Lord yes Lord
Yes yes Lord Amen

I am pressed but not crushed
Persecuted not abandoned
Struck down but not destroyed
I am blessed beyond the curse
For His promise will endure
That His joy's gonna be my strength

Though the sorrow may last for the night
His joy comes with the morning

Well, i rewrote the song, and when i sing it in church, i change the words, because those who are bullying me in church sing this song, as they persecute people. Yes, they should trade their ways in repentance, but its hard ot hear peple sing this, when they persecute me, with mental abuse. Its like i don't hear the words but abominations against god come from their mouth. So i do sing it, and change the words to, " i offer my sorrows, i offer my pain... For the word of the lord. " ... Etc.
