Now and then it keeps you running
It never seems to die
The trail's spent with fear
Not enough living on the outside
Never seem to get far enough
Staying in between the lines
Hold on to what you can
Waiting for the end
Not knowing when
May the wind take your troubles away
May the wind take your troubles away
Both feet on the floor, two hands on the wheel,
May the wind take your troubles away
Trying to make it far enough, to the next time zone
Few and far between past the midnight hour
Never feel alone, you're really not alone...
Switching it over to AM
Searching for a truer sound
Can't recall the call letters
Steel guitar and settle down
Catching an all-night station somewhere in Louisiana
It sounds like 1963, but for now it sounds like heaven
May the wind take your troubles away
May the wind take your troubles away
Both feet on the floor, two hands on the wheel,
May the wind take your troubles away.

Wow. Finally delved into son volt after we found our newly rescued dog that was shipped north from the south. Rough start. She bit me the first day out of fear and then escaped into the wilderness the next day. We tracked her for nine days. We'd see her out there but she'd run in fear. We trapped her. Slowly sissy allowed for the magic to happen. We worked on ourselves outside in the natural environment on trails with ledges and overlooks. We'd stop and try to make peace. The wind blew her fur. He nose would go up, and she would take in all that comes with the wind. Then to the ocean where the winds bonded us more. You can't feel bad in a cool ocean wind that bathes you with healing. The wind took her troubles away after we listened to this song on the long trip to maine where we went to makes things better.
