I’m not comin’ back
I’m not gonna react
I’m not doin’ shit for you.
I’m not sittin’ around while you're tearin’ it down around us.
I’m not livin’ a lie while you swim in denial
‘Cause you’re already dead and gone
You leave me out on the curb just like everyone else before you.

Welcome to my world
Where everyone I ever need always ends up leaving me alone.
Another lesson burned
And I’m drowning in the ashes
Kicking
Screaming
Welcome to my world

I don’t care what you think I’m not seeing a shrink.
I’m not doing this again.
I’m not another student or a mother to take your shit out on
So let’s see what you got, let’s see what you’re not
And what ever else you pretend
You defended my intentions long enough

Welcome to my world
Where everyone I ever need always ends up leaving me alone.
Another lesson burned
And I’m drowning in the ashes
Kicking
Screaming
Welcome to my world

So here I am again.
In the middle of the end.
And the choice I wish I’d made
I always make too late

Welcome to my world
Where everyone I ever need always ends up leaving me alone.
Another lesson burned
And I’m drowning in the ashes
Kicking
Screaming
Welcome to my world.

My world
My world(welcome to my world)
My world
My world (welcome to my world)
My world
Welcome baby.

I think this song is about someone's partner who gave up on them like their parents and friends did. They are sick and tired of being alone and feeling like their the burden of the lives around them..

Yep missmindfreak, you nailed it. Hes just tired being left alone. Reikitten, your meaning is also a good possibility. I have a friend who was once abused and i showed him this song and he said it felt like someone finally understood. Theyre okay now though. They live with good members of their family now.

Missmindfreak you are completely correct. That is what this song is about, and whoever put minus one on your comment is an ignorant dumbass. This song is about him being alone, and just wanting somebody.

This song is about the abusive habits of a father. The first part was where they decided not to put up with it anymore. The father is the one in denial. And he's talking about the mother being dead and gone. When he says everyone he ever need always ends up leaving me alone. He's talking about his mother dieing. Drowning in her ashes. Kicking, Screaming is him getting hit. The part about the shrink is also part of most abuse victims. You also get clarification on the mother in the second part. Mother to take your shit out on.
