(CHORUS)
Day-o, day-o
Day de light and I wanna go home
Day-o, day-o
Day de light and I wanna go home

Me say, load the banana
Boat all night long
Day de light and I wanna go home
Hey, all of you work men
Sing this song
Day de light and I wanna go home

(CHORUS)

Sleep by sun and work by moon
Day de light and I wanna go home
When I get some money
Gonna quit so soon
Day de light and I wanna go home

(CHORUS)

Pack up all my things
And I go to sea
Day de light and I wanna go home
Den de bananas see
The last of me
Day de light and I wanna go home

(CHORUS)

I hope to tell you, mon
I hear them singing, mon
I wanna go home, mon
Day de light and I wanna go home

I looked it up on another site, and these lyrics are all wrong. It won't let me correct them though. Sorry.

I've never heard this version of the song (for some reason it won't play either). But I can't believe she would have changed it as much as it appears she did. Unless of course who ever put them in, has it wrong.
