Crow has brought the message
To the children of the sun
For the return of the buffalo
And for a better day to come
You can kill my body
You can damn my soul
For not believing in your God
And some world down below
You don't stand a chance
Against my prayers
You don't stand a chance
Against my love
They outlawed the Ghost Dance
They outlawed the Ghost Dance
We shall live again
We shall live again
My sister above
She has red paint
She died at Wounded Knee
Like a latter day Saint
You got the big drum in the distance
The Blackbirds in the sky
That's the sound that you hear
When the buffalo cry
You don't stand a chance
Against my prayers
You don't stand a chance
Against my love
They outlawed the Ghost Dance
They outlawed the Ghost Dance
We shall live again
We shall live again
We shall live again
Crazy Horse was a mystic
He knew the secret of the trance
And Sitting Bull the great apostle
Of the Ghost Dance
Come on Comanche
Come on Blackfoot
Come on Shoshone
Come on Cheyenne
We shall live again
We shall live again
Come on Arapaho
Come on Cherokee
Come on Paiute
Come on Sioux
We shall live again
We shall live again
We used to do the Ghost Dance
We shall live again
We used to do the Ghost Dance
We don't sing them kind of songs no more

The spirituality of the indians was not limited to the words in a book, but to all forms of life, recognizing the connectivity and there are (in todays words) cause and effect. Their prayers were for all, the unwillingness to learn the ways of the people because of their differences, when the differences should have been the reason to learn. When it's the heart that prays, in all sincereity and in a selflessness for others, those are the answered prayers. We shall live again in spirit, a continuation of life. If the great spirit so chooses to use your spirit for the purpose of his glory, and you are chosen to be a messenger to others, are you going to say "no. "? With god all things are possible, and jesus is the only way into the kingdom of god, but people who think that god has limits on abilities will never allow themselves the fullness of experience found in serving god. People don't have restrictions on how they are to love each other, so who put restrictions on how we can love god? Restrictions confine and control, and no person has the right of control over another person's way of loving god. Then or now!
