Ray Boltz – I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb lyrics

I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb
Words and music by Ray Boltz
Chorus:
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb
With all my strength
With all I am
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb
I have heard how Christians long ago
Were brought before a tyrants throne
They were told that he
Would spare their lives
If they would renounce
The name of Christ
But one by one they chose to die
The Son of God, they would not deny
Like a great angelic choir sings
I can almost hear their voices ring
Chorus
Now the years have come
And the years have gone
And the cause of Jesus still goes on
Now our time has come
To count the cost
To reject this world
To embrace the Cross
And one by one let us live our lives
For the One who died to give us life
Till the trumpet sounds on the final day
Let us proudly stand and boldly say
Chorus
To the Lamb of God who bore my pain
Who took my place
Who wore my shame
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb
Chorus (repeat)
1994 Word Musicascap (a div. Of Word, Inc.) and Shepherd Boy Musicascap (adm. By Word, Inc.).

Jesus die on the cross to die for our sins so we can reciave grace, and not be cursed so we can be blessed and we are blessed to be a blessing of others. He did all he could to win our souls and yet people still choosed to die even though god said choose life. He loved us so much that he gaved his only begoten son that whosoever belive I him shall not perish, but have ever lasting life. The message I get from this song is that just like we pledge aligaince to the flag of our country, offering our service as citzens of the land. We also have to be commited to god and even more, just like we eat everyday physically we also have to do spiritually. We are designed to honor and praise his name. [one thing that I desire of the lord that one thing that I will seek for that I may dwell in his house and inquire in his temple and behold the bueaty of my bueatiful savior(pslam 27)]

I think all of the lambettes should prove their allegiance to the Lamb guy and go join him right now. Why wait in this awful foul earthy farmyard full of unrighteous animals like foals and kids or calves (sh-udder) I even saw some piglets once it was shocking and demonic. Thank goodness Mary had a little lamb. Go fellow sheep, fly to that farmyard in the sky where there are no abbatoirs or meat-eaters and the sky is never cloudy or grey. The Holy Lamb will welcome you with cloven hooves (it's an evolutionary adaptation) and bleat a blessing upon thee. Whatya waitin' fer git ye a goin' thar pardner!
