Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them

Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh
Things you never say to me, oh, oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

I'm sorry I don't understand
Where all of this is coming from
I thought that we were fine
(Oh, we had everything)
Your head is running wild again
My dear we still have everythin'
And it's all in your mind
(Yeah, but this is happenin')

You've been havin' real bad dreams, oh, oh
You used to lie so close to me, oh, oh
There's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love
Oh, our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
I never stopped
You're still written in the scars on my heart
You're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Oh, tear ducts and rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust
But our love's enough
You're holding it in
You're pouring a drink
No nothing is as bad as it seems
We'll come clean

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, oh, that we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

The song of course, is about a couple whose relationship has become rocky and distant. At first things seem unfixable but as they continue on with their relationship, they figure out that their love actually is fixable. In my opinion, the song is basically telling us that if we're in a relationship and we come to a somewhat rocky or distant point, don't give up on it (unless theirs a really good reason to) just sit down and talk to each other and try to fix it together.

I love this song it feels so right and honest I have been single from January of this year and I want to start loving someone again but I don't think I'm ready to be in a relationship again its not that I don't want to ill be honest I really want one but I want someone to love me for being me and not just use me over and over again and then find that they used me and get rid of me like I did something wrong when I should have just walked away from the ones who has used me in my pass relationships but I think I have gotten over that now I just need to grow up and move on.

Right so P! Nk and Nate. A match made in heaven. I can't believe the lyrics could not relate to anyone in a 'rocky' situation. I love the video, but it's kind of creepy sitting on a bed, that is floating, in the clouds. I don't like it when P! Nk appears to be drowning though, as if she did how could she ever right her amazing songs! They mean a lot. Bringing Nate in was an unforgivably good choice as he brought the song together for me. I love this song!
