My meaning? It's scripture! It's from Psalm 17, the 15th Verse. Read the whole chapter to get the proper context. It's King David talking to God, and he says, "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness."
It's God's meaning and David's meaning. My opinion? I think it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. I love this song. I used to have the tape this came off of. PLEASE if you can tell me where to get it, again, I will be eternally grateful!
