Our Lady Peace – Automatic Flowers lyrics

And Sara thinks she's died here once before
She's crazy
A pop-up book of flowers from grade 4
Are driving her insane
No one knows why
She's sad tonight
No one can help her find
Crying, Crying, she couldn't afford the view
Crying, Crying, these automatic flowers won't do
Another brick
Another window frames, confusion
Her garden blooms but Sarah can't see straight
She's drinking, we're so blind
And no one knows why
She stares outside
No one can help her fight
Crying, Crying she couldn't afford the view
Crying, Crying, these automatic flowers won't do
These automatic flowers wont do
She never admitted, she never condsiered
That she always means better
She's wasting all our time
Crying, Crying, she couldn't afford the view
Crying, Crying, these automatic flowers won't do
These automatic flowers won't do
These automatic flowers, flowers won't do
Won't do(x7)

Personal meaning not the real one but please do like and enjoy: In the Mid Nineties my life was saved by a little girl. A little girl who was constantly bullied at the school down the road. Years later I came across her again. It wasn't her though but authorities claimed she was an alcoholic (a most ridiculous claim, the girl is an angel on earth) I stared outside for years and I drank before I met Sarah, hoping to see my saving grace again. I cried and I cried after the angel that resembled her had saved me and I bought flowers for her after the fact, only to see her mother call police for presenting her with them. We were ordered to cut contact, and the little girl cried. I don't understand what the big deal was, but it was me who drank after and cried and cried and stared outside, until I met her look alike "Sarah" whom everybody falsely accuses of "Drinking," something which is simply not just hilarious but completely absurd, knowing my Sarah my beautiful Sarah Lol (This is only our personal meaning, and as magical as it was at the time we first heard it, it is purely coincidental.) "Christina" remained elusive, but remained an angel in our hearts for saving a life as she does to date.
