Sell the kids for food
Weather changes moods
Spring is here again
Reproductive glands

He's the one
Who likes all the pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means, knows not what it means
And I say
He's the one
Who likes all the pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means, don't know what it means
And I say ahhhhh...
We can have some more
Nature is a whore
Bruises on the fruit
Tender age in bloom

Heeeeey...
He's the one
Who likes all the pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means, knows not what it means
And I say
He's the one
Who likes all the pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means, don't know what it means
And I say ahhhh...

Heeeeey...
He's the one
Who likes all the pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means, knows not what it means
And I say
He's the one
Who likes all the pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means, knows not what it means
Knows not what it means, knows not what it means
And I say ahhhh...

This song is about how people listen to music because other people listen to it and they want to follow the crowd. He's probably saying that they don't even know what he means, and people only like the songs because other people listen to it and they want to follow the herd.

    It's about creationism and god.

    Verse bits:
"... Spring is here again, reproductive glands" - new life, cycle of the seasons and the natural act of having children, going forth and multiplying.

    Chorus bits:
"he's the one who likes all our pretty songs" - the hymns we sing being the pretty songs.

"... And he likes to shoot his gun, but he knows not what it means to shoot" - god supposedly punishes people but doesn't actually kill them as such, rather try and show them what's good and evil.

This song should open with herald trumpets...Why?...I can't say...it came to me in a dream...I don't think Freud could figure it out.
