(feat. Judy Tzuke)

Shut the gates and sunset
After that you can't get out
You can see the bigger picture
Find out what it’s all about
You're open to the skyline
You won't want to go back home
In a garden full of angels
You will never be alone

But oh the road is long
The stones that you are walking on
Have gone

With the moonlight to guide you
Feel the joy of being alive
The day that you stop running
Is the day that you arrive

And the night that you got locked in
Was the time to decide
Stop chasing shadows
Just enjoy the ride

If you close the door to your house
Don't let anybody in
It's a room that's full of nothing
All that underneath your skin
Face against the window
You can't watch it fade to grey
And you'll never catch the fickle wind
If you choose to stay

But oh the road is long
The stones that you are walking on
Have gone

With the moonlight to guide you
Feel the joy of being alive
The day that you stop running
Is the day that you arrive

And the night that you got locked in
Was the time to decide
Stop chasing shadows
Just enjoy the ride

Stop chasing shadows
Just enjoy the ride

Maybe cause i was reading a lot about buddhism lately the lyrics remind me so much of buddhism teaching.. Stop living in delusions, let go of your attachments ('stop chasing shadows'); your suffering will stop when you realize that as humans we are not universe on our own, everyone is good by nature, they might be just subject to their delusions, realizing that, learning how to forgive others, to be compassionate will lead us to the true path of happiness ('in a garden full of angels you will never be alone'). And we all have this potential to reach this state 'you're open to the skyline', 'you can see the bigger picture'- we need to look out of our own lives and problems, overcome our ignorance to see this true potential. The time you stop running after these delusions is the time you'll be liberated- ' the day that you stop running is the day that you arrive'.. Stop chasing things that won't make you happy, just be present, let go of all negative feelings and embrace the positive things around you ('stop chasing shadows just enjoy the ride') .. That's just my interpretation

Somebody who's a loner and will never feel alive or know themselves if they don't open the door to their heart and home and engage the world and not be afraid to live and be known.

You are the center of your universe and you direct your own actions, without external help and you can't dedicate your whole life to religion purposes. Carpe diem!

Es liberadora la letra, te hace viajar por los rincones del espiritu y si cerras los ojos es como un viaje a traves de la vida
