k, I'm thinkin maybe its about the difficulty of arriving at and conveying the Truth, given the fact that we all live in basically separate universes, each with our own unique perspectives and spins on what is.

Idk...I think theres more in it like between the lines. I of course can only interpret the way I see it but there seems to be a deeper meaning than what shows on the surface. Metatron is probably a metaphorical reference, in this song and in all instances, to something else. Just like hindu gods arnt literal "beings" but aspects of Brahman, ultimate reality, which is only conjectured through its aspects. Idk, I've been looking into Gnosis alot lately and Volta seems to follow those sorts of themes, probably unintentionally, as these things are simply inherent to the nature of reality. Its all one thing expressed in infinite puns, echoes, distorted reiterations. A holographic universe...or something like that. Again these are just the things stimulated in my mind when I listen...everyones in their own reality tunnel.

After saying that i mean metatron is not the spirit...at the beggining when he says "you read in my letter: patiance worth is dead" hes reffering to a woman that also contacted a spirit called Patience Worth, this spirit wrote 200 poems ("Suffocate the inkwell") through that woman, altough i dont know if she was also using a Ouija board...

Metatron seems to be the first son of Cain (Adans Son)who reincarned as an angel...it appears to have great power comparable to Jesus itself since Metatron appears sat in heaven, wich is a position only permitted to God. But anyway this song doesnt talk much bout him...seems more about the woman Omar spoke to by the Ouija board and the temptation he had to use this board, since for more Christian people using this kind of artifact is considered a sin.
